Directions

From Route 93 North or Route 93 South:

You can either:

Exit onto the Mass Pike West, then take Exit 20 (Brighton/Cambridge) follow directions below for Mass Pike
West)

or,

Take Exit 26, Storrow Drive Exit onto Storrow Drive West. Take Storrow Drive to the Central Square/Mass Pike exit. At the end of the exit ramp, take a left at the light onto Cambridge Street (Do not get onto the Mass Pike).Continue straight and at the 5th set of lights take a right onto Franklin Street (you will see The Sports Depot Restaurant on your right). Take an immediate left onto Braintree Street (Able Rug is on the corner). Go to the end of Braintree Street, it’s the last building on the right. Use the door for 129 Braintree St., it is at the corner of the red brick building.

From the Mass Pike:
From Mass Pike East, take exit 18 (Brighton/Cambridge) From Mass Pike West, take exit 20 (Brighton/Cambridge) After the toll, follow the signs for ALLSTON/BRIGHTON AND STAY TO YOUR LEFT. As the exit ramp circles around to the right, stay in the right lane and merge onto Cambridge Street. At the 4th light, just after the second bridge, take an immediate right onto Franklin Street (you will see The Sports Depot Restaurant on your right). Take an immediate left onto Braintree Street. (Able Rug is on the corner) Go to the end of Braintree Street,it is the last building on the right. Use the door for 129 Braintree St., it is at the corner of the red brick building.

Green Line:
Coming from Boston/Park Street.Take the Green Line, B train, to Harvard Ave. stop. Marty's Liquors and McDonald's will be on your right. Follow Harvard Ave through two crossroads (Brighton Ave and Cambridge Street). At Cambridge Street, you will see The Sports Depot Restaurant across the street. Cross Cambridge Street (Harvard Ave now becomes Franklin Street). Head towards the The Sports Depot and take the first left onto Braintree Street. (Able Rug is at the corner). Follow Braintree Street to the end (approximately 4 blocks down on the right) Use the door for 129 Braintree St., it is at the corner of the red brick building.

Bus from Harvard Square:
Take the 66 Bus to Union Square in Allston/Brighton. Once off the bus, continue walking on the same side of the street and in the same direction that the bus was traveling. Walk approx. 2 blocks to Everett Street. There is a Kentucky Fried Chicken on the opposite side of the street. Turn right on Everett Street and walk down the hill for two blocks to Braintree Street. Use the door for 129 Braintree St., it is the red brick building right at the corner of Everett and Braintree Street.

FREE PARKING
During the day you can park either on the street or continue straight under the bridge and park in the Stop and Shop parking lot next door.
